The Image Mats Exhibition tile has been designed and developed exclusively for Image Mats; It's unique in the materials used, construction & performance.
Surface Fabric: 100% Knitted Velour Polyester
Other products on the market use spun or needle punch Polyester which has minimal resistance to abrasion, consequently when walked on, will very quickly Pill (this is the bobblie bits you get on jumpers etc) this pilling effect will rapidly have a detrimental effect on the quality of the image, resulting in a short life span.
Our Knitted Velour polyester fabirc has a very high resistance to abrasion, it is guaranteed not to Pill which means that the fabric will not deteriate so your image lasts longer resulting in a long life span, which is why we can guarantee our Exhibition Tile to retain 80% of its original image after 2 yearsconsistent use.
Base: 100% NBR Foamed Rubber
This has no smell and a very high non slip rating, it will not curl or crack and contains no impurities, it is resistant to Oil, Grease, Bleach and most chemicals , it also has the added benefit of being foamed rubber which by definition will also act as a anti-fatigue product- perfect if you are standing up all day !!
Print: Full colour, Digital Dye Sublimation
As you will have seen from the web site there i no limitation in colours or design, and we can produce to photographic quality, also we use sufficient Inks to ensure your image is not just on the surface but is transferred deep into the fabric, this ensures your image will not wear away and stay in use longer.

Special Project
We were engaged by The National Gallery of Australia to help recreate a real to life version of Van Gogh’s, Bedroom in Arles.
Our task was to recreate the floor of the bedroom by replicating the look and feel of the floorboards, which we did by printing onto our Exhibition Tiles.
We are truly honoured to be selected for such a prestigious and unique project, which is also the most expensive collection of Art ever to be exhibited in Australia. Our thanks goes to the National Gallery of Australia for their support.
